Women's Cross Country – 1987-90

Immer was the first St. Scholastica runner to individually qualify for the NCAA Division III National Meet in 1990. At nationals, she placed 24th overall, which led her to be named a NCAA All-American, the first CSS athlete to earn that honor and the only cross country to do so. Immer was also on the 1988 team that won the National Little College Athletic Association (NLCAA) championship and 1989 squad that won the National Small College Athletic Association (NSCAA) Championship. She took first place in the 1989 championship meet. Immer still currently owns the third fastest 5k time in program history. Then head coach Scott Keenan described Susan as the most coachable athlete that he has worked with.
