Rauschenfels finished his career as the second leading scorer in program history, recording 1,511 points. The Proctor, Minnesota native is only one of three players to eclipse 1,500 career points. He holds program records for free throws made in a season (129) and field goals made in a game (16). He is only one of two players to score 40 points in a game. He was a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, a two-time First Team All-UMAC choice and also an honorable mention All-UMAC selection. He was twice-named the team’s Most Valuable Player and a three-year team captain. Rauschenfels was named the UMAC Tournament MVP in 2004 as he led the Saints their first-ever NAIA National Tournament appearance. He was also a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
