The College of St. Scholastica

The 1982 St. Scholastica Women's Cross Country Team qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship where it placed 10^th overall. To date it is the only cross country team in school history to qualify for a NCAA Championship. The team finished second in the NCAA Central Region Championship meet, which is still a program-best finish at that event. Transfer Jen Suess led the Saints during the season, placing seventh at the region meet and 39^th at the NCAA Championship. Each CSS runner that competed at the region championship ran personal-best times.
