Heise is inducted into the CSS Athletics Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility. Heise is the only player in the softball program's history to be named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III First Team All-American in 2006. Heise was also a Second Team NFCA and NAIA All-American in 2004 and was named the NAIA Region Player of the Year that season. Heise was a four-time UMAC Player of the Year and holds program records in 17 different categories. She led the nation in strikeouts in 2004 and 2006, ranks eighth in NCAA Division III history in career strikeouts and fifth in lowest career earned run average. Heise had 10 career no-hitters and 30 career home runs.
