Runbeck was the men's soccer program's career leader in points for over a decade until it was broke last fall by Joe Watt. Runbeck's 157-point total is currently second overall. He led the team in scoring all four seasons. He holds the record for most shots in a game (14) and is tied for most assists in a game (4). His 20 goals and 15 assists during the 2001 season both rank in the top five. Runbeck was named NAIA First Team All-Region, Honorable Mention NAIA All-American, UMAC Player of the Year and Team MVP that season. Career goals was another record that Runbeck had to relinquish last fall to Andrew Jenkins. Runbeck has the second-most career goals (57) and assists (43) in program history. Runbeck was a four-time all-conference selection, including a two-time first team choice. Runbeck also played four years as defenseman on the men's hockey team and was named to the NCHA All-Academic Team in 2002.
