csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica men's tennis team swept the University of Minnesota Morris 9-0 Sunday in a conference match. CSS has shutout Morris in 14 of the last 15 meetings.
Doubles
The No. 1 team of
Brendan Boudreau (Thunder Bay, Ontario/Sir Winston Churchill Collegiate) and
Ernesto Telles (El Salvador/Academia Britanica Cuscatleca) swept their Cougar opponents with a score of 8-0.
Zach Meikle (La Salle, Manitoba/Linden Christian School) and
Logan Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS), the No. 2 team, dropped only one game for a score of 8-1. The No. 3 team of
Jason Kent (Winnipeg, Manitoba/Altoona (Wis.) HS) and
Caleb Thill (Altoona, Wis./Altoona HS) was victorious, ending with a score 8-0.
