Where They Stand: The Saints can clinch another outright UMAC regular season championship with a victory on Saturday … A loss would mean the Saints would have to share the regular season title with the Eagles.

Stainer Closing In: Senior Josh Stainer (Rowlands Castle, England/South Downs College) enters the weekend with 110 combined career singles and doubles victories … That is five shy of the program record held by Jacob Engelstad (2008-12) … In comparison of the two, Stainer has all of his victories at the No. 1 singles and doubles flights … Engelstad had 71 wins between the No. 1 singles and doubles flights.

Streaks/Trends: Mike Fontana (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Gustavus Adolphus)) has won nine straight singles matches, while Logan Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) and Makar Grytsevich has won seven in a row … The No. 1 doubles team of Stainer and Engelstad have won eight matches in a row … The tandem of Fontana and Bryce Gadke (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield HS) has won seven matches in a row.

No. 2 Doubles Indicator: The success of the No. 2 doubles team seems to indicate the success of the team as a whole … When the No. 2 doubles team wins, the Saints are 13-0 … When it loses, CSS is 0-6.

Singles/Doubles: The Saints have identical winning percentages in singles and doubles this season … Including the fall action, the Saints are 84-42 in singles (.667) and 42-21 in doubles (.667).
