csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season with 7-2 setback to St. Olaf College on Saturday.
Doubles:St. Olaf swept the three doubles matches by scores of 8-6, 8-5 and 8-5.
Singles:Josh Stainer (Rowlands Castle, England/South Downs College) earned one of St. Scholastica's victories at the No. 1 spot by scores of 7-5, 6-4.
Logan Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) (No. 3) fell in the third set super-breaker (10-8) and
Jordan Lindholm (Mt. Iron, Minn./Virginia HS) (No. 6) also fell by way of a super-breaker (10-7).
Bryce Gadke (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield HS) had CSS' other win on the day coming out on top at the No. 5 spot 6-3, 6-3.
Up Next:The Saints (1-1) will have their home opener tomorrow against Carleton College at noon at the Arrowhead Tennis Center.
