The Oles opened their season last Saturday and fell to No. 15 Luther College (Iowa) 5-4 … St. Olaf was picked to finish fourth in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season, but did receive one first place vote … The Oles advanced to MIAC Tournament title match last season and did not lose anyone from that team … The Oles are led by Stephen Nolan, who has racked up multiple All-MIAC honors in his career, and junior Joey Kronzer and Ben Carlson, who each earned All-Conference honors in 2014.
