COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. -- Ella Stritesky (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS) continued her consistent streak in the throwing circle on Friday in Collegeville, MN. In the opening even of the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, it was Stritesky's opening throw that sealed the deal for her podium finish. In a personal record toss of 15.00m, Stritesky claimed third place to give her All-MIAC honors on day one. The mark solidified Stritesky's place at sixth on the Saints all-time list.

Also punching her ticket to finals in the opening event was Ella Engen (Clearbrook, Minn./Clearbrook-Gonvick HS). Engen let a great toss fly on her second attempt to make the final and get points on the board for the team. Engen placed eighth overall with a throw of 14.20m.

Regan DeWitt (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS) stuck her nose into the fast heat of the 800m finals. Her opening laps put her into a great position to hang tough and catch a few runners in front of her. DeWitt placed sixth overall in the event to earn first individual All-MIAC honorable mention award on the track. DeWitt's time of 2:20.62 improves her standing as the fifth fastest Saint in school history.

Ava Fink (Virginia, Minn./Virginia HS) ran a blistering personal record in the 60m prelims. Although she narrowly missed out on qualifying for the finals, her time of 8.12 seconds tied her for 11 th in the competition. The result also shot Fink into the fifth place position on the Saints all-time performance list.

In the long jump, Shayna Wick () got her first taste of MIAC competition and led the Saints with a 12th place finish.
