A conclave of Saints women's track and field athletes have received MIAC Indoor Track and Field All-Conference honors for their recent performances at the MIAC Indoor Conference Championships.
Regan DeWitt (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS), the sophomore standout picked up all-conference honors in the 1,000m and finished on the podium in third place with an impressive time of 3:01.48. DeWitt also was nominated for all-conference honorable mention with a six place finish in the 800m, coming across the line in 2:20.62.
St. Scholastica also had a relay pick up an all-conference honorable mention berth with the 4x200m relay team of Jaden Elleffson,
Ava Fink (Virginia, Minn./Virginia HS),
Kayla Nelson (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS), and
Shayna Wick () coming in at fourth place in a time of 1:47.17.
The Saints had a nomination in the field events as well.
Ella Stritesky (Rogers, Minn./Rogers HS), the outstanding junior, got the nod for all-conference and finished on the medal stand with a third place finish in the weight throw with a heave of 15.00m.
The Saints await the NCAA national selection committee to see which of their members will get to compete at the NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships.
