The Saints Mens Indoor Track and Field team had two athletes named as MIAC Athlete of the Week on January 21st.

At the Twin Ports Open this past weekend, Lars DeWall (Sr., Stillwater, MN) set program and facility records in the 3000-meter run with a winning time of 8:24.32. His time is the sixth-fastest in NCAA Division III this season.  At the same meet, Trent Beseth (Stanchfield, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) (Sr., Stanchfield, MN) set a new CSS program record in the shot put with a distance of 17.15 meters (56' 3.25"). His distance is the second-best in D-III this season.  DeWall was named MIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Beseth was named MIAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.  You can read more about their record-breaking performances here.
