Hastings, MN. - The St. Scholastica Women's Golf team wrapped up the D3 Classic this weekend after a two-day event at Emerald Greens.
The Saints finished in 11th place, respectively, with a team score of 684 (348, 336, +108). Bethel University and Carleton College tied for the top spot in this weekend's tournament, finishing with team scores of 608 (+32).
Individually, Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) came away with the victory, as she jumped eight spots on the leaderboard while shooting a program record score of 70 (-2) in today's final round. Oberding also broke her career personal record by three strokes.
Round One:

Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) topped the leaderboard for CSS after Saturday's first round, posting a score of 76 (+4).

Katie Anderson came in second for the Saints in scoring after round one, as the freshman recorded a score of 88 (+16).

Coming in third for the Saints in scoring after day one was Maggie Lamppa (Hoyt Lakes, Minn./Mesabi East HS), who posted a round-one score of 91 (+19).

Emily Nystrom (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) was able to finish fourth for the Saints in scoring, recording a score of 93 (+21).

Rounding out the scoring for CSS in round one was Olivia Martalock (Hermantown MN/Hermantown HS), who finished her afternoon with a score of 96 (+24).
Round Two:

Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) continued her dominance in round two, as she was able to post a round-two score of 70 (-2), which broke a program record for St. Scholastica. The outstanding round placed her atop the individual leaderboard, coming away with the lowest score from all individuals this weekend, with a two-round score of 146 (+2).

Maggie Lamppa (Hoyt Lakes, Minn./Mesabi East HS) and Emily Nystrom (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) tied for second for the Saints in round two, as the duo both shot scores of 87 (+15). Overall, Lamppa finished her weekend with a total score of 178 (+34), and Nystrom finished with an overall score of 180 (+36).

Katie Anderson finished in fourth place for the Saints in today's second round, scoring 92 (+20), while shooting an overall score of 180 (+36) for the weekend.

Olivia Martalock (Hermantown MN/Hermantown HS) capped off her weekend with a career-best score of 95 (+23) in round two this afternoon. Martalock finished this weekend with a total score of 191 (+47).
