HASTINGS, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's golf team traveled this past weekend, taking part in the Gustie Spring Invite, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College at Emerald Greens Golf Course. The Saints as a team finished in 11th place in the invite.
How it Happened
Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) finished inside the top-10 this past weekend. The senior posted rounds of 82 and 78, respectively, placing her tied for sixth place with an overall score of 160 (+16).
Olivia Martalock (Hermantown MN/Hermantown HS) and Kate Anderson (Mora, Minn./Mora HS) finished second and third for CSS in the invite. Martalock finished this weekend with two round scores of 98 and 99 to finish +53 and in 63rd place. Anderson fired scores of 103 and 99, finishing her weekend +58 and in 65th place.
Rounding out the scoring for the Saints this weekend, Madelyn Morris (Duluth, MN/Duluth East HS) and Morgan Mitchell (Farmington, MN/Farmington HS) placed fourth and fifth for CSS. Morris posted a second-round score of 106, eight shots better than her first round score of 114. Mitchell posted a first round score of 117, while her second round was also eight shots better, posting a score of 109. The pair finished in 67th and 68th place in the invite, respectively.

The Saints women's golf team will be back in action next weekend, as they will take part in the one-day tournament of the Rumble at the Ridge, hosted by Bethel University at Oneka Ridge Golf Course in Hugo, Minnesota.
