NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's golf team traveled this weekend to Northfield to take part in the St. Olaf/Carleton Invite at Willingers Golf Club. The Saints finished in 11th place this weekend.
How it Happened
Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) led the way for CSS in scoring this weekend, as she posted a first round score of 90 (+18), followed by a five-shot better second round, scoring 85 (+13) finishing tied for 39th place overall.
Kate Anderson (Mora, Minn./Mora HS) finished in second place for the Saints in scoring, as the sophomore fired an opening round score of 109 (+37), but followed it up with a 13-shot improvement in her second round, scoring 96 (+24) to finish in 66th place.
Olivia Martalock (Hermantown MN/Hermantown HS) and Madelyn Morris (Duluth, MN/Duluth East HS) rounded out the scoring for CSS this past weekend. Martalock finished her weekend with scores of 108 (+36) and 111 (+39), placing her in 67th place. Morris completed her first round with a score of 115 (+43) and posted a second round score of 120 (+48), as she finished in 69th place.
