Golf Embarks on a Two-Day Tournament to Begin The 2024-25 Season

Ham Lake, Minn. - The College of St. Scholastica Men's golf team is set to begin their 2024-25 season this weekend on the road. 
The team will head to Ham Lake, MN for the Augsburg Invitational which will begin on Sat, August 31, 2024. The two-day event will wrap up on Sun, September 1. The event consists of two rounds of 18, one on each day.

Course Statistics
Opening up the season, the Augsburg Invitational will be held at Majestic Oaks Golf Club. The course is home to two sets of 18 and a set of nine holes. The tournament will be held on the Signature course, which is of a traditional style layout.  The par of the course is a standard 72, with a slope rating of 135. A mix of Green/Blue tees will be played, which will sit roughly around 6850 yards. The signature course is riddled with hazards, as water can come into play on 12 different holes. 

Last Time Out
The Saints wrapped up their 2023-24 season in Monticello, Minn at the Saint John's Spring Invitational where the team finished respectfully in 14th. Notable rounds came from Connor O'Hara (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS), who shot 76, 80 (156, +13).
