The College of St. Scholastica proudly announces that Connor O'Hara (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) has been named a 2024‑25 NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All‑America Scholar, becoming the first ever Saints golfer to receive this prestigious honor.
O'Hara's selection marks a milestone in Saints athletics history. His recognition stands as a testament to the combination of academic and athletic prowess of what it means to be a Saint. He joins the company of 202 Division III honorees across 78 schools for the 2024‑25 season.
To earn Cobalt Golf All‑America Scholar honors, student-athletes must meet stringent standards:
-
Be at minimum a sophomore, academically and athletically, or in final eligibility with an associate's degree (NJCAA).
-
Compete in at least 50% of team rounds.
-
Maintain a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III.
-
Hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
-

Connor's achievements checked every box. As a sophomore, he played in all fifteen of the Saints rounds, comfortably passing the 50% threshold.
