Men’s Golf Concludes First Tournament of Season with Top-10 Finish

HAM LAKE, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's golf team earned a top-10 finish in the season opening Augsburg Fall Invitational today. St. Scholastica had four golfers improve their scores from yesterday's opening round, leading to a 10th place finish as a team. 

 

How it Happened

For the second round in a row, Patrick Perreault (Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS) led the Saints in scoring. The freshman shot a second-round score of 77, six shots better than his previous round, earning a tie for 42nd place. 

Jack Gladitsch (North Branch, Minn./North Branch HS) shot a second round score of 80 today, improving his score by six shots and earning a tie for 48th place in the tournament. 

Declan Young (Fergus Falls, Minn./Kennedy Secondary School) and Connor O'Hara (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) shot an 83 and 84 today, respectively. The scores today both gave them a big improvement from yesterday's round. Young finished with a tie for 55th place, and Young finished in 59th place. 

Carter Anderson (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) finished today with a second-round score of 95, as the senior finished with a tie for 64th place.

The Saints men's golf team will be back in action next weekend, where they will travel to Superior, Wisconsin, to take part in the Twin Ports Collegiate at Nemadji Golf Course.
