Men's Tennis to Compete at ITA Men's Midwest Regional Championships

SAINT PETER, Minn. — The College of St. Scholastica men's tennis will play at ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Saint Peter, Minn at Gustavus Adolphus College. The tournament will run from Friday, Sept. 29 through Monday, Oct. 2, and will feature 28 of the top teams in the region. 

A handful of players will compete in this tournament for the Saints. Below is a schedule of the first round. Please head over to the tournament homepage for live results.

ITA Singles Draw (9/29 - 9 AM)

ITA Doubles Draw (9-29 - 2:30 PM)
- Abeleda/Gerrad-Stace vs. #4 seed vs. 7 Luke VanDonslear/Tyler Nelson (UWW)

B Singles Draw  (9-29 - 9 AM)
- C. Anderson vs. Zach Ong (Cornell)
- J. Onkka vs. Carson Haack (UNW)
- A. Shaffer vs. Mason Meyer (SJU)
- R. Patten receives a BYE, and plays the winner of Miguel Lopez (MSOE) / Jeffrey Miller (Wartburg)

C Singles Draw (9-29 - 9 AM)
- N. Greis Coria receives a BYE, and plays the winner of Marek Woytasik (Edgewood) / Caike Ribeiro (BLC)

The singles and doubles champions and runners-up from the ITA Regional Championships will advance to the ITA Cup. The ITA Cup is comprised of the eight regional champions (and/or at-large selections) from NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA, and junior/community colleges. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete at one of the 84 USTA/ITA Regional Championships held across the country.
