Oberding, Lindemann Both Finish Top-10 as Women’s Golf Finishes 10th in Gustie Spring Invite

HASTINGS, Minn. (csssaints.com)Anna Lindemann (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) and Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) both finished top-10 in scoring for CSS in the first and only round of the Gustie Spring Open this afternoon for CSS. The Saints finished in 10th place with an overall team score of 350 (+62). Carleton and Bethel both went home today tied for first place with overall team scores of 317 (+29).
 
How it Happened
For CSS, Carissa Oberding (Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) shot the best score, with a round-one score of 77 (+5). The overall score of 77 placed her tied for fifth place.
 
Anna Lindemann (St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) had a career day today, shooting a round-one score of 79 (+5), her career-best score. Lindemann finished the invite tied for tenth.

Olivia Hanson (Olivia, Minn./BOLD HS) was able to finish third in scoring for the Saints, as the junior posted a first round score of 94 (+22). 
 
Kayla Kasel (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) and Maggie Lampa finished fourth and fifth for CSS, respectively. Kasel shot a total score of 100 (+28) and Lampa shot a total score of 104 (+32).
 
Rounding out the scoring for the Saints, Mya Grubbs (Iron River, Mich./West Iron County HS) shot a total score of 110 (+38) and Emma Burrows (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley HS) shot a round-one total of 124 (+52)

The Saints women's golf team will be back in action next Saturday and Sunday, where they will take place in the BU Rumble at the Ridge in Oneka Ridge Golf Club in White Bear Lake.
