SORRENTO, Fla. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica concluded its opening round of the spring season today, wrapping up the second round of the Shenandoah University Spring Fling, at Eagle Dunes Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. CSS finished with a team score of 700 (+124), finishing in fifth place in the event.
 
How it Happened
Trevor T. Durfee (Superior, Wis./Superior HS) finished atop the leaderboard for the Saints, finishing with a second round score of 76, two shots better than his first round, while also finishing 12^th in the tournament overall.
 
Hunter Berg (Esko, Minn./Lincoln Secondary) had himself a much better second round today, finishing his second round with a score of 79, which was 14 shots better than his first round. Berg finished the tournament with a two-round score of 172 (+28), while finishing tied for 25^th.
 
Zach Wenner (Becker, Minn./Becker HS) and Ben Nordenstrom (Mora, Minn./Mora HS) finished third and fourth respectively for the Saints, as Wenner finished with a second round score of 89, and Nordenstrom finished with a second round score of 98. Wenner finished in 28^th place, and Nordenstrom finished in 30^th place.
 
The biggest jump from round one to round two went to Cody Lewison (Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS), whose second round score of 103 was 19 shots better than round one. Lewison finished in 32^nd in the tournament.
