CSS 7, Ripon 3
The Saints started the game as the home team and despite going into the bottom half of the first inning down 1-0, they came back and took a 2-1 lead. CSS was able to hold the 2-1 lead until the top of the 5th when back-to-back home runs gave Ripon a 3-2 lead. Haley Rosenthal (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) came in to end the inning and closed for the Saints.

St. Scholastica went into the bottom of the fifth down 3-2 but ended up coming back strong as Lauren Laviano (Maplewood, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) got things going with a two-run home run and putting the Saints in the lead yet again. It didn't stop there as Aislind Dail (Sumner, Wash./Sumner HS) kept things going with a two-run RBI single which was followed by Aryn Blumenthal's (Linwood, Minn./Forest Lake HS) single, driving in Dail and bringing CSS to a 7-3 lead.

CSS shut down Ripon in both the sixth and seventh inning and finished with the final score of 7-3. At the plate for CSS, Dail went 2-3 and Laviano went 2-4 with a two-run home run. In the circle, Matejka and Rosenthal both had one strikeout.

CSS 11, Northland 0
The Saints had a solid start to game two as Breuer started the inning off with a home run. CSS held the 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the inning as Northland went three up and three down.
