DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team will face Luther College (Iowa) in the Twin Cities on Saturday afternoon.

What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints defeated Concordia College-Moorhead on Sunday by a 6-3 margin.
-Elliot Schneider (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) has won four straight singles matches at the No. 2 spot.
-Both Schneider and Serhii Tykhonenko (Kiev, Ukraine/Lyceum #100 "Podil") each lead the team with four singles wins this spring; Tykhonenko has four wins at the No. 1 spot.
-Schneider has also teamed with sophomore Jake Jolowsky (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) to win three straight doubles matches at the No. 2 spot.
-Freshman Rafa Gonzalez (La Libertad, El Salvador/FESA) has won three straight singles matches.
 
What You Need to Know about Luther:
Record: 3-1, 2-0 ARC
-The Norse will enter Saturday's match on a three-match winning streak.
-The lone loss of the season came to NCAA Division I Creighton University (Neb.).
-Luther is 17-7 in singles play and 7-5 in doubles action this spring.
-Cole Schneider is 2-1 at the No. 1 singles spot and is tied along with Grant Morton with a team-best four singles wins overall.
 
Series Record: Luther leads 4-0 (Last Meeting: 9-0 Luther – 3/3/2018)
 
Series History: The Norse have won all four meetings with the closest margin being a 5-4 loss in 2017.

Looking Ahead: The Saints will head down to Florida for their annual Spring Break trip and will open with Saint Ambrose University (Iowa) on Sunday, March 10.
