Men’s Basketball Hosts Finlandia, Travels to UNW Saturday

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team has its final non-conference game of the season Wednesday when it hosts Finlandia University (Mich.) at The Reif. CSS then travels to St. Paul for a Saturday showdown with the University of Northwestern (Minn.).

-The Saints have four players that average in double-figures in scoring, led by sophomore Collin Anderson (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) at 13.4 points per game.
-CSS is 13-1 this season when it scores at least 40 points in a half.
-St. Scholastica ranks ninth in NCAA Division III with a 1.54 assist-to-turnover ratio.
-Junior Brandon Newman (Barnum, Minn./Barnum HS) leads the UMAC with a 2.61 assist-to-turnover ratio.

-The Saints are on a six-game road winning streak when they head to Northwestern Saturday, which matches last year's program record.

-Brandon Robinette leads the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game.

-Two of three Eagles losses in league play have come against Crown.
-UNW has the top scoring defense in the conference, allowing 70.9 points per game.
-The Eagles commit the second-fewest turnovers in NCAA Division III at 10.0 per game.
-Caleb Hageman leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game.
-Tanner Youngberg is fourth in the conference, averaging 7.8 rebounds per game.
