Nelson and Keykal Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

DULUTH, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica men's basketball team placed two student-athletes on the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Team, as Aaron Keykal (Princeton, MN/Princeton HS) and Koy Nelson (Port Wing, WI/South Shore HS) earned recognition from the College Sports Communicators for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-District® Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for excellence both academically and athletically.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must meet specific academic and athletic requirements. Nominees must carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and either compete in 90 percent of their team's games or start in at least 66 percent of contests during the season.

Keykal and Nelson played key roles for the Saints throughout the 2025-26 season, contributing consistently while maintaining strong academic standing to earn the recognition.

The CSC Academic All-America® program, one of the most prestigious academic honors in collegiate athletics, recognizes student-athletes across NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as NAIA institutions, for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom.
