The Vikings are coming off a doubleheader sweep of rival Martin Luther College on Wednesday … Bethany Lutheran did not allow a run in either game as junior pitcher Anna Pipenhagen went the distance in both games … The Vikings were swept by Northland College to open conference play last weekend … Not only does Pipenhagen lead the conference with 112 strikeouts in 94 innings pitched, but she is also the team's leading hitter with a .359 average … Samantha Meginbir has a team-high 14 RBIs … The Vikings are led by first year head coach Dan Nessler.
Minnesota Morris Cougars

The Cougars will have their conference opener against University of Wisconsin-Superior on Saturday at home before traveling up to Duluth to face the Saints Sunday … Morris is coming off being swept by Buena Vista University (Iowa) last Sunday … The Cougars swept Concordia College-Moorhead and won a pair of two-run games over Spring Break for their win total on the year … Autumn Mahoney leads the team offensively with a .448 average and 14 RBIs … Mahoney leads the conference with 17 runs scored … Morris is the best hitting team in the UMAC with a .303 batting average … The Cougars have struggled with pitching thus far with a 9.17 team earned run average, second-highest in the conference … Morris has allowed 190 runs in the first 20 games.
