Olesiak Benefit: Saturday's doubleheader will be a benefit for the Olesiak Family to assist in paying for medical costs following a severe automobile accident on New Year's Eve … There will be a silent auction, concessions from Wade Stadium and games for kids … All admission costs and proceeds will go towards the Olesiak Family.
Minks Approaching a Milestone: Senior third baseman
Brian Minks (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS ) is one double shy of becoming only the second Saint in history to record at least 50 doubles, 10 triples and 10 home runs in a career … The only other CSS player to do that has his number retired and that was Ben Sickler in the 90s.
Out-Hitting Opponents: The Saints have out-hit their counterparts in each of the last 14 games and 19 games overall this season … CSS is 17-2 when they out-hit their opponents.
