Krull, Spicer Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

DULUTH, Minn. – St. Scholastica baseball student-athletes Luke Krull (Greenville, WI/Xavier HS) and Finley Spicer (Aberdeen, N.C./Union Pines HS (Limestone University)) have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their achievements both on the field and in the classroom.

The CSC Academic All-District program honors student-athletes who excel academically and athletically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least sophomores both academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and either compete in at least 90 percent of their team's contests or start at least 66 percent of them.

Krull, a junior infielder, started 35 of the Saints' 39 games and was one of the top offensive performers in the MIAC. He led the team with 58 hits while batting .379 with 14 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 34 RBIs and 41 runs scored. Krull also posted a .455 on-base percentage and stole 17 bases in 18 attempts.

Spicer, a junior outfielder, started 35 games and hit .359 with 51 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, three home runs and a team-leading 36 RBIs. He added 33 runs scored, a .437 on-base percentage and 14 stolen bases while helping anchor the Saints' lineup throughout the season.

The Saints finished the 2026 season with a 20-19 overall record and a 9-11 mark in MIAC play.
