DULUTH, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica baseball team earned multiple postseason honors this week, as seniors Damian Tamayo-Vera and Luke Krull (Greenville, WI/Xavier HS) were both recognized with regional awards following standout 2026 campaigns.

Tamayo-Vera was named to the D3baseball.com Region 9 Second Team All-Region squad, while Krull earned D3baseball.com Region 9 Third Team All-Region honors. Both players were also selected to the ABCA Region IX First Team All-Region team.

Tamayo-Vera capped off one of the top offensive seasons in program history, batting .411 with nine home runs, 37 RBI, and a .776 slugging percentage across 33 games. He also posted a .522 on-base percentage and finished the season leading the MIAC in OPS (1.298) and slugging percentage.

Krull was a consistent force at the top of the Saints lineup all season, batting .379 with 58 hits, 14 doubles, five home runs, 34 RBI, and 17 stolen bases. He led the team in hits and runs scored while finishing with a .621 slugging percentage and .455 on-base percentage in 39 games played.

The Saints finished the 2026 season with a 20-19 overall record and a 9-11 mark in MIAC play.
