DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Due to unplayable field conditions in Coon Rapids, the St. Scholastica baseball team will now host North Central University (Minn.) in doubleheader on Wednesday at Wade Stadium.

Last Action: The Saints opened Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action with a doubleheader sweep over the University of Minnesota Morris at Wade Stadium on Saturday … The Saints fell behind by six runs to the Cougars in the first inning of game one, but used a nine-run fifth inning to win going away 13-7 … Grant Rindal (Superior, Wis./Superior HS ) was in control of game two and so was the CSS offense in the middle innings to take the nightcap 11-1 in seven innings … Brian Minks (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS ) was 7-for-8 in the doubleheader with four extra-base hits.
