Two Home Runs in an Inning: Brian Minks (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral HS ) hit a pair of home runs in the 11-run ninth inning on Saturday against Martin Luther … He is the only known Saint to accomplish that feat.
Home Winning Streak: The Saints have won a NCAA Division III-best 52 straight home games, including 50 in a row at Wade Stadium … The last home loss took place in the 2010 UMAC Tournament against Bethany Lutheran College.
Can't Keep 'em off the Bases: Austin Colvard (Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) and
Steven Neutzling (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral ) have reached base safely in every game they have appeared in this season … Dating back to the end of last season, Colvard's streak is at 33 games and Neutzling's streak is at 31 games … If you recall, Colvard had a streak of 44 games reaching base safely last season, which was the eighth-longest in NCAA Division III history.
10-Hit Mark: The Saints are 14-1 this season when they record at least 10 hits … The only loss was to Greenville when it could not hold a five-run lead entering the final inning … The Saints were 24-5 last season when they had at least 10 hits.
