Gino Strebing (Tucson, Ariz./Santa Rita HS (Rainy River CC) ) were named UMAC Players of the Week on Tuesday … In five games last week, Neutzling batted 10-for-17 (.588), including a double, a triple and three home runs, while driving in 14 runs … Strebing tossed the ninth no-hitter in program history last Tuesday against North Central University … Strebing struck out seven over seven innings.
Can't Keep 'em off the Bases: Austin Colvard (Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) and Neutzling have reached base safely in every game this season and have a streak of 29 consecutive games dating back to last season … If you recall, Colvard had a streak of 44 games reaching base safely last season, which was the eighth-longest in NCAA Division III history.
10-Hit Mark: The Saints are 10-1 this season when they record at least 10 hits … The only loss was to Greenville when it could not hold a five-run lead entering the final inning … The Saints were 24-5 last season when they had at least 10 hits.
