DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica softball team will be outdoors on Sunday when it takes on Bethel University for a doubleheader at the University of Northwestern's Reynolds Field Softball Complex.

Last Action: The Saints opened their season last weekend at the Rochester Dome Tournament and defeated both the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Coe College (Iowa) on Saturday, but fell to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Buena Vista University (Iowa) on Sunday … Kara Warren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) had a solid start to the season going 7-for-12 with four doubles … Maggie Schley (Mounds View, Minn./Irondale HS) had a great start to her collegiate career, driving in seven runs at the plate and earning the complete game win in her first career start against Coe.
 
Schedule Changes: Sunday's doubleheader against Bethel was originally scheduled for April 15, but the favorable winter and the mild forecasted temperatures have moved the games to this weekend.
 
Streaks: Warren ended last season on a five-game hitting streak and extended that streak to nine games after last weekend … She has also reached base in 13 straight games … Nikki Logergren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Northern Stars)) ended last season on an 11-game hitting streak and a 14-game reached base streak.
