DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica baseball team will be at Wade Stadium this weekend for a three-game Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) series with Crown College.

Cancer Awareness Weekend: CSS is holding a Cancer Awareness Weekend, sponsored by the American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer this weekend.
 
Postponement: The Saints were scheduled to face Northland College for a doubleheader on Tuesday, but those game have been postponed to next Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Ashland, Wis.
 
Colvard Consistent: In 20 games this season, junior Austin Colvard (Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) has hit safely in 19 of them with the exception being against the La Roche College (Pa.) down in Florida on March 12 … Colvard is currently on an 14-game hitting streak and has reached base in all 20 games this season and is at 39 games overall dating back to last season.
 
Runs Allowed vs. UMAC Opponent: The 12 runs allowed against Minnesota Morris on Saturday are the most runs allowed against a conference opponent since allowing 13 runs against the now defunct Mount Senario College in 2001.

Crown also defeated Minnesota Morris 6-5 at the end of March … The Storm are facing Minnesota Morris today for two games ... Four of its nine losses have been by three runs or less … Sophomore Hunter Foss leads the team with a .394 average, which is fourth in the conference … He also has a team-high eight RBIs … Junior Brandon Hudson has one of the team's three wins on the mound with a 4.33 earned run average and 28 strikeouts in 27 innings … The Storm were picked to finish seventh in the conference.
