Pitch Perfect: In her perfect game on Monday, Mizera struck out eight of the first nine batters she faced (eight in a row) and finished with 10 strikeouts for the game … She needed only 74 pitches in six innings … The last perfect game in program history was in 2013 when Tracy Roach pitched the only seven-inning perfect game in program history vs. Martin Luther College.
What a Comeback: The Saints trailed 7-0 entering the bottom of the fourth inning in the game two win over the Eagles on Monday … CSS then scored runs in each of the final four innings to win 8-7 … The seven-run comeback has been done before, just last year actually … The Saints trailed Northland 8-1 entering the fifth inning and scored seven runs in the top of the seventh to win 11-9.
