The Saints extended their winning streak to 11 games in dramatic fashion in Monday's home opening doubleheader against the University of Northwestern … The first game saw the fifth perfect game in program history by Chrisi Mizera (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East HS) in a 8-0 victory … Game two saw the Saints rally from a 7-0 deficit to win 8-7 on a Kara Warren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) walk-off in the bottom of the seventh.
 
Unbeaten: The Saints have won 28 straight home games dating back to the 2011 season … The last loss at Kenwood Field was an 11-5 victory for Northland College on May 3, 2011 … CSS has also won 31 straight UMAC regular season games dating back to April 29, 2013 when Northland defeated the Saints 4-1 in Ashland, Wisconsin.
 
Pitch Perfect: In her perfect game on Monday, Mizera struck out eight of the first nine batters she faced (eight in a row) and finished with 10 strikeouts for the game … She needed only 74 pitches in six innings … The last perfect game in program history was in 2013 when Tracy Roach pitched the only seven-inning perfect game in program history vs. Martin Luther College.
 
What a Comeback: The Saints trailed 7-0 entering the bottom of the fourth inning in the game two win over the Eagles on Monday … CSS then scored runs in each of the final four innings to win 8-7 … The seven-run comeback has been done before, just last year actually … The Saints trailed Northland 8-1 entering the fifth inning and scored seven runs in the top of the seventh to win 11-9.
 
Streaks/Trends: Junior Nikki Logergren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Northern Stars)) has reached base safely in 18 straight games … Kasandra McCabe (St. Peter, Minn./St. Peter HS) is currently on a season-high 11-game hitting streak … CSS is 17-2 when it out-hits its opponents, but are 0-8 when it gets out-hit.
