PREVIEW: Men's Tennis Looks to Cap Record Season with Title

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team will be in Minneapolis this weekend, competing in the 2014 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament at the Baseline Tennis Center.

University of Northwestern Eagles Record: 9-13 (8-2 UMAC) Head Coach: Matt Swigart | -The Eagles have won three of their last four matches and play North Central Thursday night to close the regular season.
-Northwestern is 54-78 in singles action this season with 42 wins coming in conference play.
-Jimmy Ekman at No. 1 singles and Phil Gudim at No. 2 singles are both 11-11 this year. Both also went 8-2 in UMAC play.
-Ekman and Gudim have also teamed up for 11 doubles victories on the year at the No. 1 spot.
-Levi Busse and Agassi Mila are 7-7 at No. 2 doubles.
-The Eagles are 27-39 in doubles play this season, including 22-8 against UMAC competition.
