DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team will open Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action on Saturday with two matches against North Central University and Bethany Lutheran College.

Josh Stainer (Portsmouth, England/South Downs College) are on a three-match winning streak and have an overall record of 9-3.

Logan Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) and
Jake Tideman (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) are 7-1 as a tandem and have won five straight matches.
-As a No. 1 singles player, Stainer has a record of 5-6 on the season.

Mike Fontana (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Gustavus Adolphus)) has won five straight singles matches, while Engelstad has won four straight.
-The Saints enter the conference season on a 114-match winning streak against UMAC teams.
-CSS has been picked to share the regular season title with the University of Northwestern.
