DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team will play two matches on Sunday at Quad City Tennis in Virginia, Minn.  They will face Ripon College (Wis.) in the morning and then Carleton College in the afternoon.
	
	Match Schedule:
	CSS vs. Ripon – 9 a.m.
	Ripon vs. Carleton – Noon
	CSS vs. Carleton – 3 p.m.
	-The Saints are coming off a 1-1 start to the season last Saturday, in which they defeated Hamline 7-2, but fell 5-4 to Bethel.
	-
Nick Lambrecht (Stacy, Minn./North Branch HS (Minn.-Duluth)), 
Logan Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) and 
Alex Mihailov (Bucharest, Romania/Gheorghe Sincai National College) were the lone Saints to win both singles matches on the day.
	-The only doubles team to win both matches was No. 1 
Josh Stainer (Portsmouth, England/South Downs College) and 
James Mack (Portsmouth, England/Cams Hill School).
	-Lambrecht was named the UMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performances on Saturday.

		-The Redhawks will be led by first year head coach Brian Lindberg. If that name sounds familiar, Lindberg is a St. Scholastica grad, who played tennis for the Saints from 2009-2012. He recorded 33 career singles wins and 16 doubles victories.
		-Ripon will open its season Saturday in Owatonna as it faces Simpson College (Iowa) and Bethany Lutheran.
		-The Red Hawks will also face Carleton in Virginia after the Saints.
		-Ripon returns five players, while adding 4 newcomers.
		-Junior Eric Seiler returns after leading the team with seven wins last season.

		-Carleton saw its 2013 season come to an end with an 8-1 loss to Gustavus Adolphus MIAC Tournament Championship.
		-The Knights will open their season against Ripon before playing the Saints.
		-The Knights only return two wins in #1 or #2 singles from last year.
		-All-MIAC doubles performer Christian Nagy returns.
		-The Knights lost a trio of multi-time All-MIAC performers in Paul Cooper, Alex Chin and Austin Jiang.
