Last Action: The Saints traveled to Ashland on Tuesday for a mid-week game against the Northland LumbarJacks where CSS came away with a 12-3 victory.

St. Scholastica Saints (12-8, 4-0 UMAC)
The Saints took the UMAC by storm with a three-game sweep of the rival Bethany Lutheran Vikings last weekend…  The Saints were picked to finish first in the UMAC with Bethany finishing second so the weekend sweep was a big test passed for St. Scholastica… Kyle Flagstad (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) leads the team offensively with a .400 batting average with six doubles and two triples… Kyle Moody (Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo HS ) continues to lead the team with 18 RBIs while David Vogelgesang (Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS) is tops with two home runs… Jake Nystrom (Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS) leads the Saints with three wins on the year and also has a 2.96 earned run average with a team best 28 strikeouts.  Kyle Jensen (Wyoming, Minn./Forest Lake HS) is the only other pitcher with more than 20 strikeouts with 22 and has a 3.42 ERA… This year's senior class has a conference record of 62-3.

Minnesota-Morris Cougars (3-11, 3-1 UMAC)
The Cougars had a less than impressive start to their season in non-conference play but started off on the right foot in the UMAC sweeping Crown in a three-game series… Nick Perrotte and Eric Terres are one-two on the team in batting average (.333), runs scored (6, 9), and hits (15, 13)… Scott Peterson is tops on the team with seven RBIs… Jake Johnson is far and away the leader on the mound for UM-M with a 2.45 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 22 innings pitched.
