The Saints have six games left in conference play and are on quest to remain undefeated in UMAC play… CSS is also six wins away from a 30-win season with seven game left in the regular season…The Saints continue to be led at the plate this season by
Kyle Flagstad (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) and
Kyle Moody (Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo HS )… Flagstad leads the team with a .443 batting average, .807 slugging percentage along with seven triples… Moody is tops on the team with three home runs, 39 RBIs and is tied with Flagstad for the team lead with 12 doubles…
Jake Nystrom (Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS) leads the Saints on the mound with a record of 5-3 and a 2.83 earned run average… Nystrom has struck out 46 batters in just 41.1 innings pitched…
Michael Swenson (Scandia, Minn./Forest Lake HS) and
Mickie Keuning (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Angelo State)) both have four wins this season and Swenson has a 2.67 earned run average… A standout pitcher for the Saints this season is
Thomas Rogers (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS ) who has allowed just 11 hits and one run in 18.1 innings of work to earn an ERA of 0.49 to lead the team in that category.
Crown College Storm (2-18, 1-14 UMAC)
The Storm have had a dismal season to say the least but may feel a recent boost of confidence with a convincing 8-2 victory over the Finlandia Lions on Tuesday… The Storm are led at the plate by Brandon Nicholas and Isaiah Jensen… Nicholas leads the team with a .298 batting average and four doubles while Jensen is right behind him batting .270 and leading the team with nine RBIs and a slugging percentage of .444… Pitching has been a struggle for the Storm this season as Jensen has the lowest earned run average at 7.71 and one of the two wins (Kyle Knox has the other) for the Storm…Jensen also leads the team with 28 strikeouts and Knox is right behind him with 26.

The Saints swept Crown in Minnetonka last year by scores of 19-0, 14-3 and 15-2.
