St. Scholastica Saints (17-8, 9-0 UMAC)
The Saints have now won 11 straight and are still firing on all cylinders despite a few injuries this season…  After a shaky start against some tough teams, St. Scholastica is nine games over .500 and playing well in the heat of conference play… Kyle Flagstad (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) is leading the way offensively for CSS with a .429 batting average, .794 slugging percentage and six triples… Flagstad has tripled in four straight games and five of the last six…Kyle Moody (Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo HS ) has supplied power for the Saints this year with two home runs and 28 RBIs with almost one-third of his hits being doubles… Mickie Keuning (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Angelo State)) has been hot as of late only allowing two hits in his last two starts; including a no-hitter against Minnesota-Morris…Keuning and Jake Nystrom (Fargo, N.D./Fargo North HS) lead the team with four wins.  Nystrom is second on the team with an earned run average of 2.67 and leads the way with 34 strikeouts.

Martin Luther Knights (1-15, 1-7 UMAC)
The Knights' record paints a picture of exactly how their season has gone as 10 of their 15 losses have been by seven runs or more… The Knights have just 10 extra base hits this year with all of them being doubles… Aaron Stokke is near the top on the team in almost all offensive categories with an average of .351 with 20 hits, 11 RBIs and 22 total bases… Despite having an ERA of almost seven, Jacob Ziel leads the team with 21 strikeouts while Andrew Nemmers has the lone win for Martin Luther.
