DULUTH, Minn. – The 10th-ranked St. Scholastica baseball team will travel to ninth-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Saints have also re-scheduled one, nine-inning game against Northland College on Wednesday night at Wade Stadium.

The Saints will enter Tuesday on a 13-game winning streak … The six home runs against Bethany Lutheran on Sunday are tied for the second-most hit in a game by CSS since 2003 … Brian Marshik (Arden Hills, Minn./Mounds View HS ) has reached base in every game that he has played this season (27) … Joe Link (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) had a solid week in five games last week as he was 10-for-16 at the dish with a home run, six RBIs, and nine runs scored … He also stole six bases and is now 36-for-36 on the year and is four away from the single-season program record … According to last week's NCAA Statistical rankings, Link was ranked second in the nation in stolen bases per game (1.2) … The CSS offensive was ranked second in the country in scoring (9.8 runs per game) and fifth in team batting average (.355) … David Vogelgesang (Hastings, Minn./Hastings HS) joined Matt Lewis (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) at 7-0 on the year with a victory on Sunday … Expect Lewis to throw against the Warhawks on Tuesday…As a whole, the CSS pitching staff is ranked seventh in the country in team ERA (2.53).

#9 UW-Whitewater Warhawks (25-7, 13-5 WIAC)
The Warhawks are coming off a four-game series split at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh over the weekend … Prior to the two losses on Saturday, Whitewater had won eight straight games … The Warhawks are outscoring teams 284-141 this season, including 59-21 in the first inning … UWW is ranked 11th in the nation in scoring and second in Division III in doubles per game (2.8) … Daniel Putnam, who is ranked second in the nation in batting average, finally fell below .500 last week and is at .489 … Rob Coe is will enter Tuesday's games on a 10-game hitting streak as he leads the team with 42 RBIs … Jeff Donovan leads the team with four home runs and is fifth in Division III in doubles per game (0.58) … Donovan also has an 8-0 record on the mound … Riley Tincher has a 7-2 mark and a team-best 2.95 earned run average … As a staff, the Warhawks do not walk many batters as they are ranked sixth in the nation with just 2.41 walks allowed per nine innings.

The LumberJacks were swept over the weekend by Presentation College … Today, the 'Jacks have a non-conference doubleheader at Finlandia University … Northland has won just three games since its spring trip, two of which coming out of conference … The lone conference victory was against martin Luther College … Casey Herr leads Northland offensively with a .366 batting average and 18 RBIs … Colin Moberly has drove in 18 runs this season … Shane Ellias and Travis Hendrickson lead the pitching staff with a pair of wins … Brandon Bodart has a team-high 26 strikeouts and Hendrickson has the best earned run average at 4.13.
