DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team took care of the University of Minnesota-Morris twice on Sunday, winning by matching 9-0 scores.

The Saints have won 11 straight matches and run their Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) winning streak to 94 matches. The Cougars fall to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the conference. The reason why two matches were played today was because the April 3rd dual match in Morris was postponed.

Of the 12 singles matches on the day, the Saints won five by way of shutout and in 11 of the 12, only dropped one game.

#Brian Lindberg# and #Kevin Hilpert# won two singles matches on the day. Hilpert has won nine straight matches.

Other singles wins in the first match include, #Jacob Engelstad# at No. 1, #Tucker Combs# at No. 3, #Brendan Anderson# at No. 4, and #Dylan Kelly# at No. 5.

In the second match, #Alex Nagle# at No. 3, #Tom Schneuer# at No. 4, #Nick Lind# at No. 5, and #Mike Aro# at No. 6 were all victorious.

In doubles play on the day, the Combs brothers, Tucker Combs (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) and #Cullen Combs#, won two matches. Brendan Anderson (Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS) also won two doubles matches, one with Jacob Engelstad (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) and the other with #Nick Lambrecht#. The two wins gave Anderson 51 career doubles victories, a new program record. #Erik Conley# and #Kolin Dean#, along with Kevin Hilpert (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) and Dylan Kelly (Minneapolis, Minn./Minneapolis South HS) also had doubles wins on the day.

The Saints will be in action next at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Thursday for a non-conference dual match against the Blugolds. The match was originally scheduled for April 1st, but was postponed. The action is set to begin at 2 p.m.
