MOORHEAD, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team dropped its second 5-4 decision in its first three matches of the season on Sunday at Concordia College-Moorhead.

The Saints (0-3) started off the match well by taking two of the three doubles matches. The Combs brothers, #Tucker Combs# and #Cullen Combs#, won their match at the No. 2 spot 8-4. The No. 3 team of #Brendan Anderson# and #Kevin Hilpert# also won by a score of 8-5.

In singles play, #Dylan Kelly# was victorious at the No. 4 position by scores of 6-4, 7-6 (7-2). Kevin Hilpert (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) also won at the No. 5 spot by way of a second set tiebreaker 6-4, 7-6 (7-5). Unfortunately, the Cobbers (1-0) took the other four singles matches.
