DULUTH, Minn. – Due to the forecasted threat of inclement weather on Thursday, the 2010 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Baseball Tournament will now begin on Friday at Wade Stadium.

The schedule will remain the same for the first day with Bethany Lutheran and Presentation playing at 10 a.m. St. Scholastica and Northwestern will follow at 1 p.m. The losing teams from the first two games will play at 4 p.m. and the two winners will play at 7 p.m.

Another change to the schedule is that there will now be three games played on day two of the tournament, if necessary. If there is going to be a second championship game that will also be played on Saturday, instead of the next day as previously scheduled. The second day's schedule will begin at 10 a.m. with the championship game being played at 1 p.m. If there is a second championship game that will start at 4 p.m.
