ORLANDO, Fla. – The St. Scholastica men's and women's tennis teams both fell to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Tuesday.

The men fell by a score of 8-1 and now have a record of 1-6 on the year. The women lost 9-0 and fall to 4-5 in the spring season and 5-5 overall.

The lone winner for the men was #Jacob Engelstad# (So.-Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln), who was victorious at No. 2 singles by a score of 7-6 (8-6), 6-2. The UW-La Crosse men improved to 12-4 on the year.

On the women's side, the Saints forced a couple of third set super-tiebreakers in singles action, but would fall in both as the Eagle women, who are ranked 15th in the central regional, improved to 13-2 this year.

The Saints will have the day off Wednesday and will get back to action Thursday. The men will face Springfield College, while the women will square off against SUNY-Geneseo.
