FARMINGTON, Minn. – St. Scholastica senior midfielder Parker Chastey (Duluth, MN/Denfeld HS) (Duluth, Minn./Denfeld HS) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Chastey becomes the first St. Scholastica men's soccer player to earn MIAC Athlete of the Week honors this season after recording a goal and an assist across two conference matches last week.

The Duluth native played a role in both St. Scholastica goals in Tuesday's dramatic 2-1 victory over Carleton at Kenny Harkins Field. Chastey assisted Vasco Carneiro (Lisbon, Portugal/) on the Saints' equalizer in the 50th minute before delivering the game-winner in the final second of regulation.

After a foul was called inside the penalty area as time expired, one second was put back on the clock. Chastey stepped to the penalty spot and converted to give the Saints the victory in their MIAC opener, hand Carleton its first loss of the season and secure St. Scholastica's first win over the Knights since 2014.

Chastey followed with three shots, including two on goal, in Saturday's 2-0 setback against Macalester. He played all 90 minutes in both matches, finishing the week with one goal, one assist, three points, four shots and three shots on goal.

Through six matches this season, Chastey leads St. Scholastica with four goals and 10 points while adding two assists. He has recorded 14 shots with nine on goal and has played all 540 minutes for the Saints. His four goals already surpass his total from the entire 2025 season.

St. Scholastica returns to action Tuesday, Sept. 22, hosting UW-River Falls in a nonconference matchup at Kenny Harkins Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
