    Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Kenny Harkins started the men’s soccer program here at St. Scholastica in 1978, later becoming the Head Coach of the women’s program in 1994. 

He finished his eight-year reign leading both the men and women with a combined record of 74-65-10 and twice was named UMAC coach of the year. Harkins was inducted into the St. Scholastica Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.

Coach Chastey recognizes that "to have a guy with this much experience and knowledge offering his time is a huge blessing for this program."

Coach Harkins holds the USSF B License and played for the Madison 56ers. He was also an international ski jumper, a former National Champion and competed in two FIS World Championships for the US Ski Team. He was inducted into the US Ski Jumping Hall of Fame in 2020.

Kenny and Charlene are parents of Karl, Liisa and Siri.
