BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- St. Scholastica Track and Field thrower Trent Beseth (Stanchfield, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) has been honored by the MIAC as the first Field Athlete of the Week for the outdoor season.

It's Beseth's fourth MIAC Athlete of the Week honor overall this year (including the indoor season). 

Beseth won the discus throw at Saint John's on Saturday. He won both the discus throw and the hammer throw at Hamline on Monday. His discus mark from Saint John's is currently the 6th best in NCAA D3, and his hammer throw mark from Hamline is currently 9th in NCAA D3. Both marks lead the MIAC.
