NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- St. Scholastica track and field continued their seasonal residence in Northfield to put the finishing touches on their preparations for the MIAC championships next weekend. Bethel, Carelton, Hamline, Macalester, Martin Luther, and host school St. Olaf were all in attendance with a final shot at conference championship qualifying marks.
 
Connor Feldt (Buhl, MN/Mountain Iron-Buhl High School) placed third overall in the 800m dash with a finishing time of 2:00.80.
 
Ashton Niemi (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS) raced to a personal best record time of 4:29.72 in the mile to finish fifth.
 
Finn Eskeli (Hibbing, MN/Hibbing High School) finished fifth overall in the 400m dash. Eskeli's time of 52.59 seconds was an improvement on his personal best.
 
Kieran Allison (Cologne, MN/Central High School) also secured a personal best in the 400m dash with an eighth place finish in 54.35 seconds. 
 
With regular season competition now wrapped up for the indoor season, the team looks ahead towards the MIAC championships at Carleton College on February 27th and 28th. Stay tuned for updates on the event throughout the week.
